Challenges at the international (globalization) and domestic (regional autonomy and fiscal decentralization) levels as described above can be categorized as a demand side which is the reason for the establishment of the Doctoral Program in Economics (IE), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) -Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). Through this program, human resources are educated to master advanced economic theories with the power of quantitative analysis and its application in dealing with various economic problems both at the international and national/regional levels

Mission

3. Conducting community services in order to improve institutional capacity and the community ability to resolve economic problems and develop the economic potentials, especially in tropical agriculture.
