Study Program Doctorate
The Nutrition and Feed Science Study Program/Major (PS-INP) originated from the Animal Science Study Program (PS-PTK). PS-PTK was conducted from 1975 to 2007. In line with the development of science and the need for human resources in the field of nutrition and feed, PS-INP was established on March 22, 2007.
PS-INP is a leading program in postgraduate education at both the Master of Science (S2) and Doctoral (S3) levels with world-class standards, specializing in tropical nutrition and feed.
The lecturers teaching in PS-INP are graduates from universities in Japan, Germany, Australia, and IPB. Students of PS-INP come from various institutions, both government and private sectors.
The Vision of the Doctoral Program in Nutrition and Feed Science Study Program (PS-INP) is to realize high-quality and dignified postgraduate education at IPB, serving as the spearhead in raising IPB’s flag as a leading research-based university in the field of tropical agriculture and related sciences.
It aims to become an internationally recognized research-based higher education institution with competencies in tropical animal science characterized by entrepreneurship, in order to build a sustainable livestock industry.

Mission1. To organize a research-based postgraduate education program to produce human resources (HR) who are independent, capable of discovering new findings, and able to develop and apply science and technology.
2. To become a trendsetter in the development of scientific knowledge and technological innovation, particularly in the field of nutrition and feed.
