Study Program Doctorate


The Doctoral Program in Marine Science has the advantage of being a research-based doctoral program that focuses on the integrated development of tropical marine science to support national and global maritime development. This advantage is reflected in the multidisciplinary support provided by the Division of Hydrobiology and Oceanography and interdisciplinary collaboration within IPB, which strengthens the mastery of basic and applied marine science. In addition to being supported by highly qualified permanent lecturers, the Doctoral Program in Marine Science also involves professors and leading researchers from various strategic national institutions such as marine research institutes, ministries, and environmental organizations, thereby enriching academic perspectives and research applications. This program emphasizes marine science and technology innovation, improving the quality of collaborative research, and disseminating research results to users and stakeholders, with an international-standard professional education management system to produce competent, solution-oriented, and competitive graduates at the regional and global levels.

Mission

1. To provide excellent, adaptive, and innovative research-based master's education in marine science and technology to produce professional graduates with integrity, global competitiveness, and maritime leadership and entrepreneurship.

 
2. To develop multidisciplinary research and marine technology innovation based on the needs of maritime communities and global challenges, including marine health, climate change, environmental pollution, and sustainable coastal and marine resource management.
