Study Program Doctorate

The Agribusiness Science Doctoral Program (DAGB) is a postgraduate education program that focuses on providing advanced education for agribusiness sciences and a variety of knowledge-based decision making for organizational entities (private or public) based on natural resources in agribusiness systems and businesses. The offer of the Doctor of Science in Agribusiness (DAGB) program is based on the belief that mastery of advanced and up to date agribusiness sciences including a new curriculum that is able to welcome the presence of the era of agriculture 4.0 society 5.0 is needed to help the Indonesian agribusiness world in particular, in order to face the rapid development of globalization , volatility in food prices, pressure from the supply side and unpredictable results, increasing complexity of food product value chains both locally and globally, changes in policies and regulations and demands for sustainability in all aspects of business decisions faced by the tropical agribusiness sector, especially agribusiness Indonesia.

Becoming a leading doctoral education program in the field of tropical agribusiness that has a holistic perspective, is oriented towards sustainable economic development for improving people's welfare, and becomes a reference for private and public agribusiness partners.

2. Engineering science and technology in the field of tropical agribusiness through research activities to support the development of competitive and sustainable tropical agribusiness

Based on awareness of the uniqueness of the field of agribusiness studies, the mandate of the Department of Agribusiness is based on the Chancellor's Decree No. 001/K13/PP/2005 which guides the formation of the proposed S1 to S3 curricula are as follows: “Development of knowledge and insight into sustainable tropical agribusiness systems, business and entrepreneurship.
This program will equip graduates with a series of advanced knowledge in the field of agribusiness which in the end will strengthen and deepen skills in understanding, analysis, and knowledge-based agribusiness private and public decision-making skills.
