The Doctoral Program in Aquatic Product Technology (PS-S3 APT) is a postgraduate program within the Graduate School of IPB University (SPs IPB). It is administered under the Department of Aquatic Product Technology (APT), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FFMS), IPB University. PS-S3 THP was established on October 1, 2019, by IPB Rector's Decree No. 215/IT3/PP/2019. In 2023, the program achieved "Very Good" (Baik Sekali) accreditation from the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT), as stated in the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT No. 4416/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/D/X/2023.

Mission

1. Establish a doctoral program in tropical aquatic science and technology to produce human resources who are ready to develop into professional, independent, and virtuous individuals;

2. Develop science, technology, and the arts in the exploration of raw materials and new products from sustainable tropical aquatic biological resources through innovative research, which can be used as a basis for human resource development;

3. Develop appropriate technology for aquatic products to improve community welfare;

4. Strengthen collaboration with all stakeholders (researchers, lecturers, professional associations, practitioners, industry, and students) nationally and internationally.
