Study Program Magistrate


The Master of Science Study Program (PS BTK) is a multidisciplinary study program under the management of the IPB Graduate School, established in 1992 which aims to produce Master of Science (S2) graduates in the field of biotechnology who are able to develop and apply biotechnology. Biotechnology is a science and technology that uses living things or their parts to produce goods and services/processes. PS BTK has four areas of specialization, namely:

1. Industrial Biotechnology

2. Health Biotechnology

3. Agricultural Biotechnology

4. Soil and environmental biotechnology

The Biotechnology Study Program of the IPB Graduate School is always accredited Excellent/A.  Currently, the Biotechnology Study Program is accredited A from BAN-PT.

Vision

To become a center of excellence in postgraduate education for biotechnology study programs in Indonesia by producing quality graduates who can compete at the national and/or international level

Mission

1.      Continuously develop the biotechnology curriculum by taking into account the developments in biotechnology

2.      Develop networks and invite all stakeholders to participate in the development of biotechnology in Indonesia

3.      Disseminate and introduce the Biotechnology Study Program and the research products of the Biotechnology Study Program
