Study Program Magistrate

Marine Fisheries and Technology (TPL) Study Program is a postgraduate program within the Department of Fisheries Resource Utilization (PSP), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University.

According to Rector's Decree No. 126/I3/OT/2008, the Department of Fisheries Resource Utilization's scientific mandate is the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable capture fisheries science and technology, encompassing: fishing gear, fishery resource exploitation technology, fishing vessels and transportation, capture fisheries policy, capture fisheries management, and fishing port management.

The TPL Study Program was established with the establishment of the Marine Technology (TKL) Study Program in 1999 (Rector's Decree No. 142/K13.12.1/PP/1999). Then, in 2007, the Marine Fisheries Technology (TKL) study program was split into two majors: Capture Fisheries Technology (TPT) and Capture Fisheries Systems and Modeling (SPT) (Rector's Decree No. 027/K13/PP/2007). In 2011, the two majors were merged again under the name Marine Fisheries Technology (Rector's Decree No. 109/I3.PP/2011), which subsequently became the Marine Fisheries Technology study program.

The Master's Program at PS TPL has been Accredited and received an A rating/grade based on BAN PT Decree Number: 016/BAN-PT/Ak-XI/S2/IX/2011, with a validity period of September 23, 2011 to September 23, 2016. Re-Accreditation through BAN-PT Decree Number: 1067/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VI/2016 and received an A rating/grade, with a validity period of June 23, 2016 to June 23, 2021. Re-Accreditation again through BAN-PT Decree Number: 9060/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/M/VI/2021 and received an A rating/grade with a validity period of June 24, 2021 to June 24, 2026. Then in 2023 the Master's Program through BAN-PT Number. 3921/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/M/X/2023 and received a Superior Accreditation rating with a validity period of 3 October 2023 to 24 June 2026.

Vision
