Study Program Magistrate
The Marine Fisheries Technology Study Program is a postgraduate program located at the Department of Utilization of Fishery Resources, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University. In accordance with the Chancellor's Decree No 126/I3/OT/2008, the scientific mandate included in the PSP Department is the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable capture fisheries science and technology, which includes: fishing gear, technology for exploitation of fishery resources, fishing vessels and transportation, policies capture fisheries, capture fisheries management, and fishing port management. The establishment of the Marine Fisheries Technology Study Program began with the establishment of the Marine Technology Study Program in 1999 (Chancellor's Decree No. 142/K13.12.1/PP/1999). Then, in 2007, the TKL Study Program was split into two majors, namely the Capture Fisheries Technology Major and the Capture Fisheries System and Modeling Major (Chancellor's Decree No. 027/K13/PP/2007). In 2011, the two majors were again merged into one under the name Major Marine Fisheries Technology (Rector's Decree No. 109/I3.PP/2011) which later became the TPL Study Program. This study program organizes master's education (Chancellor's Decree 235/IT3/DT/2012). Year In 2016, the Marine Fisheries Technology master program received accreditation from BAN-PT with an A grade.
