Study Program Magistrate
The Postgraduate Program in Management Science (PSIM) is established under the auspices of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) and the Graduate School of IPB University. It aims to support IPB's goal of becoming an internationally recognized university that understands the consequences of economic globalization and is more responsive to environmental needs, addressing the challenges of science and technology development and providing a more societal-focused education.
The Postgraduate Program in Management Science was established in 2007 to provide a Master of Management degree. This program is organized by the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Management, in coordination with the Graduate School of IPB University. This program has been accredited with an A (excellent) by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). Our master's program consists of 57 credits (courses and research) delivered over four semesters, or two years.
PSIM has four sections/divisions responsible for scientific development: Marketing Management, Financial Management, Production and Operations Management, and Human Resource Management. Furthermore, PSIM's research topics cover strategic issues in IPB, namely food, energy, poverty, and the environment. These topics are explored in depth and developed into more detailed topics.
PSIM has an extensive network with local governments, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), national private companies, and multinational corporations, which serve as alternative research locations for students.

Scientific development in the Department of Management is carried out through four divisions authorized in scientific development, namely the Marketing Management, Finance, Production and Operations, and Human Resources and Organization Divisions. The divisions function as implementers of scientific development, course services, and human resource management with specific scientific mandates and scopes. The assignment of division heads within IPB (including the Department of Management) refers to IPB Rector Decree Number 130/IT3/KP/2016. In addition to organizing the Bachelor of Management Program, the Department of Management also organizes the Postgraduate Program in Management Science (PSIM). Based on IPB Rector's Decree Number 027/K13/PP/2007, PSIM is a Master's Degree Program under the Department of Management or is monodisciplinary in nature. Thus, PSIM is based in the Department of Management. PSIM is led by the Head of the Study Program and assisted by the Secretary of the Study Program.
