Study Program Magistrate


The Master’s Program of Biochemistry is one of the study programs organized by the Department of Biochemistry, IPB University. The Department of Biochemistry was formed based on the Decree of the Chancellor of IPB University No. 001/K13/PP/2005 with the mandate to Develop Basic Science, Concepts, and Methods in the Field of Biochemistry. The formulation of the vision and mission is prepared by taking into account several factors, namely the vision and mission of the institution (Graduate School and IPB University), the vision and mission of a world-class university, and developments in the needs of the community and other stakeholders.

Vision

To become a higher education provider that is superior and foremost in education, research and community service capable of contributing to the development of Biochemistry technology at the national and international levels to encourage and strengthen national dignity

Mission

1. Organizing quality education and teaching in preparing superior and professional educated people in developing Biochemical science and technology in accordance with scientific developments and the needs of society both at the national and international levels;

2. Carry out research activities to develop and produce science and technology innovations that can contribute to society in utilizing, applying and developing biochemical science and technology for the advancement of the nation;

3. Carry out dissemination of science and technology innovation results through community service activities as an effort to enlighten, benefit and improve the quality of life in a sustainable manner;
