The Master of Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Study Program serves as an international center of excellence in developing human resources capable of conducting research in tropical plant breeding and biotechnology. Supported by a curriculum that equips students with superior intellectual achievement, builds 21st-century competencies, and fosters personal growth within a conducive academic environment

As an international center of excellence in developing human resources capable of conducting research in tropical plant breeding and biotechnology through inter- or multidisciplinary approaches, to support food and bioenergy sovereignty as well as environmental sustainability.

Mission

1. To organize a Master’s program in tropical plant breeding and biotechnology that is of high quality, competitive, and recognized both nationally and internationally.
2. To conduct research in tropical plant breeding and biotechnology to support food and bioenergy sovereignty, as well as environmental sustainability.
