Aquatic Product Technology (THP) is a leading undergraduate program focused on developing the science and technology for the innovative, sustainable, and high-value utilization of aquatic biological resources. Through a multidisciplinary approach integrating science, process engineering, biotechnology, and quality standardization, this study program prepares a young generation of scientists and professionals capable of transforming the potential of aquatic resources into globally competitive food, health, cosmetic, and strategic biomaterial products.

Mission

The missions of the Undergraduate Study Program in Aquatic Product Technology are:

a. To organize undergraduate education in the field of tropical aquatic product technology to produce human resources who master science, are competent, independent, have noble character and have a quality culture (standardization).

b. To apply science and technology as well as art in the field of raw material characterization, processing, diversification and product development as well as biotechnology of tropical aquatic biological resources through various applied research that synergizes with the development of industry 4.0

c. To popularize appropriate technology in the field of aquatic product industry for the benefit of technological, social and economic development in order to improve the welfare of society.

d. To establish cooperation with all stakeholders (universities, research institutions, professional associations, industry, domestic and foreign Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
