The Bachelor of Forest Management is an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University, aimed at producing graduates who are capable of applying and integrating basic natural, social, economic, and policy sciences, using quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as mastering forestry knowledge/techniques to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate forest management and administration systems based on ecosystems.

The program's curriculum is also designed considering the developments in forest management science and technology and the needs of graduate users, so that graduates are adaptive to dynamic conditions and ready to work according to requirements.

In the IPB education system, an undergraduate education is generally completed in 4 years, and IPB applies a major–minor curriculum (since 2005) that allows cross-disciplinary competency combinations.

From an external quality standpoint, the IPB Forest Management Study Program (Bachelor's) is recorded to have received Excellent Accreditation (BAN-PT), valid from July 18, 2023 – 30 September 2028

To become a leading multi-level higher education institution globally in the development of science, technology, and arts for ecosystem-based tropical forest management to ensure the sustainability of the ecological, economic, and social functions of forests.

Organize academic higher education based on research at the national and international levels in the fields of science, technology, and arts (IPTEKS) in ecosystem-based tropical forest management. 2. Produce human resources who are expert and excellent, professional, and have entrepreneurial character in the field of ecosystem-based tropical forest management. 3. Pioneer the development of superior science, technology, and arts in the field of ecosystem-based tropical forest management. 4. Make the MNH study program a trendsetter in IPTEKS in the field of ecosystem-based forest management.
