Study Program Undergraduate
The Bachelor’s Program in Family and Consumer Sciences (IKK), under the Faculty of Human Ecology at IPB University, carries the mandate to advance knowledge and technology in the fields of family and consumer studies to promote family well-being, with a particular focus on enhancing child development and empowering families and consumers. The program has been accredited “Excellent” (Akreditasi Unggul) by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), as stipulated in Decree No. 6054/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2024, valid for the period 2024–2029.
To become a superior and internationally recognized study program, innovative in developing science and technology in the field of family and consumers to improve family welfare in various agroecological regions.
Mission1. Provide superior and innovative higher education in the fields of family science, child development, and consumerism.
2. Conduct quality research to contribute to the development of science and technology and to solve problems affecting families, children, and consumers in various agroecological regions.
3. Conduct community service and develop collaborations to improve family resilience, child quality, and consumer empowerment in various agroecological regions.
