Study Program Undergraduate


The Undergraduate Nutrition Science Study Program is designed to meet the need for high-quality nutritionists who are capable of contributing to solving health-related problems and achieving the targets of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The program was developed based on the Indonesian Qualification Framework (KKNI) and the National Curriculum standards for the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition Science, which were formulated by professional nutrition organizations, namely the Association of Indonesian Nutritionists (PERSAGI), the Association of Indonesian Nutrition Higher Education Institutions (AIPGI), and the Indonesian Nutrition Science Collegium (KIGI). As a member of these organizations, the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition Science actively participates in developing the Indonesian Qualification Framework. The PS S1 Nutrition Science program was also developed based on the vision and mission of IPB. The philosophy of the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition Science is in accordance with the Basic Education Policy, as stated in Academic Senate Decree No. 20/I/KEP/SA/2003, dated May 7, 2003. Graduates of the Undergraduate Nutrition Science program are expected to have the competence to manage nutritional problems by applying science and technology in food security systems and national health systems.

Vision

To become a Nutrition Study Program with a global perspective that focuses on solutions to nutritional problems with a food and health system approach to improve the quality of life that is healthy, intelligent, and productive in a sustainable manner.

Mission

1. Providing quality higher education in nutrition to produce graduates who are able to compete globally.
2. Developing science and technology in the field of nutrition through internationally published research.
3. Implementing and utilizing science and technology in the field of nutrition through community service activities to achieve a healthy, intelligent, and productive quality of life in a sustainable manner.
4. Developing collaborations and partnerships in the field of nutrition at the national and international levels to support the success of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
