Study Program Undergraduate

"The Chemistry Department of FMIPA IPB was established in 1983 (Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No.0546/O/1983), but the Bachelor of Chemistry Study Program (PS) was opened in 1988/1989 (Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Depdikbud No. 47/Dikti/Kep/1989) . Since its establishment, the Bachelor of Chemistry Study Program has been accredited A BAN PT 4 (four) times. In 2019, the Chemistry Bachelor Degree Program received International Accreditation from the Royal Society of Chemistry, United Kingdom with a validity period of 5 years until 2024. In 2020, Bachelor Degree Program Chemistry has received Superior Accreditation (SK BAN PT No.7576/SK/BAN-PT/Akred-Intl/XI/2020) and is valid until March 21, 2024. Currently, the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA IPB has 30 teaching staff, 75% of whom hold Doctoral degrees. and has 4 Professors, and is supported by 25 educational staff.The Department of Chemistry has 4 scientific fields which are divided into 4 divisions, namely the Organic Chemistry Division, Analytical Chemistry Division, Inorganic Chemistry Division, and Physical Chemistry Division.In implementing the tri dharma of higher education high, the Department of Chemistry FMIPA IPB has m Do a lot of cooperation with universities/institutions/institutions at home and abroad. In addition, there are also collaborations with several industries, industry associations, and professional associations in order to prepare prospective graduates of the Bachelor of Chemistry Study Program to enter the business world of the industrial world. The Chemistry Department of FMIPA also has teaching staff, educational staff, and Chemistry Undergraduate Program students who excel in academic and non-academic fields. Starting from 2021-2023 the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program will receive an Independent Campus Competition Program Grant (PKKM) which aims to accelerate the implementation of Independent Campus Independent Learning (MBKM) and achievement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) set by the government. "

To produce an undergraduate chemistry program that is nationally recognized for its succes in developing the knowledge and skills of students in the science of chemistry and for its success in developing new knowledge in chemistry especially with relevance to agriculture

Mission

Realizing graduates with academic excellence (highly competitive, intellectually capable, socially sensitive) in the application of chemistry that is relevant to current and future societal needs, especially in the fields of Agriculture, Marine and Tropical Biosciences. 2.
