Study Program Undergraduate
The Food Technology Undergraduate Study Program (PS S1 TPN) studies the application of food science for the selection, preservation, processing, packaging, distribution, and use of safe, nutritious, and healthy food. The curriculum implemented meets the KKNI level 6, and refers to the national standards of the Indonesian Food Technologist Association (PATPI), and international standards from the Institute of Food Technologist (IFT). In addition to obtaining Unggul (Excellent) Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) (No. 6709/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/XI/2024), IPB Food Technology Study Program has also received international recognition from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since 2010, the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) since 2013, Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik (ASIIN) Jerman since 2023, and European Quality Assurance Food Science and Technology (EQAS) Austria since 2023. The provision of quality education is supported by 93% of lecturers who hold Doctoral degrees, and 21 of them are Professors. Learning activities are carried out in Indonesian (regular classes) and English (regular classes and international classes). Various facilities support learning activities, including laboratories, video conferencing, e-learning, and a food processing pilot plant. Food Technology students have the opportunity to participate in student exchange programs both domestically and internationally, and have also achieved various achievements both nationally and internationally. Almost every year, students wins the Developing Solution for Developing Countries (DSDC) competition organized by IFTSA, United States. Food Technology has established partnerships with the food industry and government agencies in curriculum development, learning processes, and graduate recruitment. The majority of graduates (87.3%) work in food-related fields, particularly in the national and multinational food industry and government agencies, with a waiting period of 2-3 months to obtain their first job.

Mission1. To deliver high-quality education in Food Technology in order to produce graduates who are competent, ethically grounded, globally oriented, possess a growth mindset, and are capable of adapting to advancements in science and technology as well as the evolving demands of the sustainable food industry.
2. To develop and implement research and innovation in Food Technology based on agromaritime and tropical bioscience that contribute to food safety and quality enhancement.
3. To carry out community engagement activities grounded in Food Technology expertise, oriented toward solving real-world problems and enhancing societal welfare.
4. To establish and strengthen networks and partnerships with industry, government, alumni, and national as well as international partners to support the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
