Study Program Undergraduate
The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at IPB University, with specializations in Bioprocess Engineering and Agromaritime Product Process Engineering, prepares graduates with distinctive scientific and engineering competencies applicable to agriculture, marine systems, and tropical biosciences (biomass-based industries). The curriculum of the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Program at IPB University refers to the standards established by the Indonesian Association of Chemical Engineering Higher Education Institutions (APTEKIM), the Independent Engineering Accreditation Board (LAM-Teknik), and the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). The curriculum structure consists of general education courses, foundational courses, and core engineering courses.
To become an innovative and resilient Chemical Engineering Program that contributes to national advancement and achieves excellence at national and global levels.
Mission1. To provide chemical engineering education that produces graduates with excellent competencies and a techno-sociopreneurial spirit in managing Indonesia’s natural resources based on sustainability principles, ethical values, strong nationalism, and global perspective.
2. To develop education, research, and community engagement in chemical engineering within the agromaritime framework, particularly in agriculture, marine systems, and tropical biosciences.
3. To establish national and international networks and collaborations to strengthen the implementation of the tridharma of higher education (education, research, and community service).
