Prodi Smart Agriculture di IPB adalah program studi baru yang mempelajari bagaimana teknologi modern, seperti sensor, IoT, big data, dan AI, dapat diterapkan dalam pertanian untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan. Lulusan prodi ini dirancang untuk menjadi ahli yang mampu merencanakan, merancang, dan mengelola sistem produksi pertanian cerdas secara inovatif dan adaptif.

Vision

The vision of the Smart Agriculture study program is to serve as a provider of international education in smart and precision agriculture, with the aim of supporting the transformation of agriculture through modern technology.

Mission

The missions of the study program are as follows:

1. To implement an international-standard education program in the field of smart agriculture, aimed at supporting agricultural transformation and accelerating the diffusion of technology to society;
2. To produce human resources who are rational thinkers, possess noble character, are internationally competitive, and are capable of maximizing crop production based on modern and intelligent technological approaches that are feasible.
