Nutritionist Professional Education is a form of post-baccalaureate higher education designed to prepare students for a workforce that demands specialized expertise, practical skills, and standardized professional competencies. This program goes beyond theoretical mastery, emphasizing the application of nutritional science in real-world contexts at both individual and community levels. Under Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health, the nutrition workforce in Indonesia comprises two primary categories: Nutritionists and Dietitians. The role of the Nutritionist focuses on strengthening public health through community-based nutrition interventions, health promotion, and advocacy for nutrition policies. The role of the Nutritionist is becoming increasingly vital given the complexity of the nutritional challenges facing Indonesia.

To become a globally-oriented Professional Nutritionist Program through the application and development of nutritional care, with a focus on occupational nutrition and the prevention of noncommunicable diseases.

1. To provide high-quality, globally-oriented professional education for nutritionists, with a focus on occupational nutrition and the prevention of noncommunicable diseases.
2. To advance science and technology in nutrition through research aimed at preventing nutritional problems.
3. To implement and develop community service activities in the field of nutrition through promotive, preventive, and advocacy efforts.
4. Developing national and global partnerships to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the field of public nutrition in an effort to improve the quality of sustainable living.
