Study Program Vocational
The Applied Software Engineering Technology Undergraduate Program is a vocational education program that prepares professional graduates with a responsible attitude, professional ethics, collaborative skills, and a commitment to lifelong learning in information technology development. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills in software engineering, data utilization, and the development of intelligent digital solutions that support the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software systems based on the latest digital technologies—particularly in the strategic sectors of agriculture, marine affairs, and tropical biosciences, which are IPB University's strengths.
Through project-based learning, industrial practice, and collaboration with businesses and industry (DUDI), students develop professional skills in needs analysis, system design, application development, quality testing, database management, system integration, and data security and protection. This program also instils the principles of sustainability, resource efficiency, social responsibility, and regulatory compliance in every technological development process. This approach ensures that graduates possess superior technical competence, a professional attitude, and the readiness to actively contribute to sustainable digital transformation at national and global levels.

Mission1. Organizing quality vocational education to prepare skilled and educated personnel in the field of Software Engineering Technology who broadly contribute to the area of agriculture according to the needs of the world of work.
2. Conducting applied research in Software Engineering Technology, guided by evolving needs, knowledge, and technology contributing to agriculture, marine sciences, and tropical biosciences
